Associate Membership in the Society of the Cross
I invite you to become a part of the Society of the Cross! Whether you
are clergy or laity, when you join the Society of the Cross, you will be part of a Christian Society that will support you in your
Christian journey by daily praying for you and in supporting your unique gifts and ministry that the Lord gives you.
Associate
Members are men and women who do not feel called to the vowed life (Professed Membership) but wish to share in the work and life of
the Society of the Cross. Associates strive to take the message of the Cross to those they encounter in their daily lives and to reach
out to the poor, needy and ill in acts of individual and corporate charity. Thus they share in the spiritual life of the Society without
having to take vows. Associates are encouraged to be active in their local churches as we are not a replacement for the local church.
We do ask that Associate Members prayerfully consider helping financially with periodic contributions for the work of the Society.
Associates must be 18 years of age or older and looking for a deeper spiritual commitment to God. A simple application is made
and Associate Members are asked to maintain regular contact with the General Chapter and a local Chapter where applicable.
The
only requirement to join the Society of the Cross is that you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and have
been baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

affiliation with the Society of the Cross will be recorded and kept on file. All records are kept confidential and are not shared
with any other ministry or organization.
